PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct road surface cutting work at an appropriate rotating speed by detecting the rotational speed of a cutter blade during the work exactly. SOLUTION: This cutter is provided with a detection circuit which detects the rotational speed of a cutter blade 3 based on an electric signal from a detection coil 5 fitted around the passing point of a magnetic piece 4 fitted at the rotating part of a cutter blade 3. If detected rotational sound, is deviated from its optimum value, a warning sound generator 9 generates warning sound, warning lamps 15a-15e go on, and running this road surface cutter 1 is stopped automatically. If the rotational speed of the cutter blade 3 is deviated largely from the optimum value, an engine 16 is stopped by an emergency stop circuit. |
