摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent disengaging shock in a lockup clutch. SOLUTION: When a lockup clutch 32 is disengaged by means of a lockup clutch selector 200 (SA13), a temporal reduction in power of an engine 10 caused by an engine power reducing means 202 is followed by a reduction in transfer torque caused by the disengagement of the lockup clutch 32. As a result of which, a sudden drop in and the pulsation thereby of transfer torque are diminished as compared with in the simple disengagement of the lockup clutch 32, to reliably prevent disengaging shock in the lockup clutch 32.</p>
