PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recycled-plate making method for a gravure printing roll which is not ballard-plated, does not need repeated cylindrical polishing and correction polishing, and contributes to economical full-automatic plate making. SOLUTION: A base material roll in which a titanium film is formed on the surface, cylinder polished, correction-polished by measuring the diameter is copper-plated, mirror-polished, and coated with a photosensitive film on which characters and images are printed and developed. On the surface of the roll, which was etched and chrome-plated, a plate is formed for characters, images, etc. After printing, the chrome plating is dissolved by chrome dissolving liquid and removed, and the copper plating is dissolved by copper dissolving liquid and removed to expose the titanium film. Again, the surface is copper plated, mirror-polished, and coated with the photosensitive film so that characters, images, etc., are printed, developed, etched, and the surface is chrome-plated. The process is repeated. |
