PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out jammed sheets and maintenance parts with both hands by preventing a closing door having been opened to a specified position from being moved to the closing direction by its dead weight. SOLUTION: A closing door 1a is mounted onto a printer main body 1 in such a way that it can be rotated around pivots 10a and 10b in two directions indicated by arrow heads X1 and X2. Twisting coil springs 12a and 12b energizing the closing door 11a to the direction indicated by the arrow head X2, are mounted onto the pivots 10a and 10b. Therefore, the closing door 1a having been opened to a specified position in the direction indicated by the arrow head X2, is kept at an open condition by means of the twisting coil springs 12a and 12b. By this constitution, the closing door 1a is thereby prevented from being moved to the closing direction by its dead weight, and a working space in the direction indicated by an arrow head X3 will never be blocked. |
