PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a platinum compound useful as an anti-cancer agent, etc., by reacting sliver ion with a cis-platinum (II) dihalogen complex compound of a specific 1,2-cyclohexanediamine isomer, then adding a dibasic acid after removing an un-reacted material and a byproduct. SOLUTION: This method for producing a platinum compound expressed by formula II [R1 , R2 become each a cyclic state with Pt(II) to form a group of formulae III, IV, etc.] and to become a base medicine of an anti-cancer agent, is to add a silver ion solution of 2.01-2.1 fold molar equivalent (an excess of 2 molar equivalent) to a cis-platinum (II) dihalogen complex compound of a 1, 2-cyclohexanediamine isomer expressed by formula I (steric conformations of 1, 2-cyclohexanediamine are, cis, trans-d and trans-1 isomers; X is Cl or Br), filter the produced silver chloride or bromide off, then add NaI or KI and active carbon to convert an un-reacted material, a byproduct and an un- reacted silver ion to an iodine compound for completely separating them by a filtration, and then add an organic dibasic acid to the filtrate. |
