PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject adhesive having light adsorbability, having a function as a light-shielding means and useful for fixing transparent optical parts such as lenses and cover glass by adding light-absorbing particles to a transparent adhesive component. SOLUTION: This adhesive for optical parts comprises (A) a transparent adhesive component and (B) light-absorbing particles added to the component A. The component A is preferably a transparent adhesive component capable of being cured by the irradiation of light having specific wavelengths, such as a UV-curable resin. The component B is preferably carbon black or magnetic particles such as iron oxide particles. The component B is preferably added to the component A is such as amount that the visible light absorption coefficient Ab30 of a 30μm-thick coating layer satisfies relationship: 3%<=Ab30<=10%.
