<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove a harmful substance by stabilizing the combustion within an incinerator without enhancing flow resistance by operating a rotary projection member having a large number of projections within an exhaust gas passing route and bonding a harmful substance in exhaust gas at a time of the incineration of waste to the surfaces of the projections to treat the same with a chemical agent. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus 1 is arranged between a suction exhaust gas duct 2 and a discharge exhaust gas duct 3. This exhaust gas treatment apparatus consists of a chemical agent storage tank 1A, an exhaust gas treatment chamber 1B and a rotary projection member 1C. The rotary projection member 1C having a large number of projections is rotated within an exhaust gas passage and a harmful substance in exhaust gas is bonded to the surfaces of the projections and reacted with the chemical agent in the chemical agent storage tank 1A to be removed. This constitution prevents the flow resistance of exhaust gas from being increased by an increase in the cross-sectional area of the passage route with the elapse of time and the combustion within an incinerator is stabilized and the removal efficiency of a harmful substance is high.</p> |
