<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction treatment method of iron-making dust which can separate and recover iron, non-ferrous metal component of zinc, etc., in the dust by using a hydrocarbon partial combustion gas. SOLUTION: The hydrocarbon is partially burnt in a gas conversion furnace to generate reducing gas containing >=50% total concn. of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The reduction treatment is applied to the iron-making dust in an outer heating type rotary furnace with this reducing gas at 800-1,000 deg.C treating temp. and the reducing gas and the iron-making dust are charged with counter flow. Further, related to discharged gas containing metallic volatiled component, the metallic volatiled component is separated by cooling the discharged gas and the metallic volatiled component is recovered as non-ferrous refining raw material.</p> |
