PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control device for a vehicle automatic transmission in which an engaging pressure is controlled in response to a piston stroke of a hydraulic type frictional engaging device operated at the time of speed change. SOLUTION: When a study correction valueΔDSLU23 A for use in correcting an engaging pressure PB3 outputted from a B3 control valve 92 in such a way that 1→2 shifting state becomes a predetermined set state is determined by a study correction value determining means 160 within 1→2 shifting period where a hydraulic pressure in a shifting period is controlled by a first shift hydraulic pressure control means 162, a second shift hydraulic pressure control means 164 controls the B3 control valve 92 in response to the study correction valueΔDSLU23 A within 3→2 shifting period or 2→3 shifting period executed under engagement or releasing of a brake B3 so as to control an engaging pressure PB3 of the brake B3. Not only as to 1→2 shifting but also as to other 3→2 shifting or 2→3 shifting the engaging pressure PB3 outputted from the B3 control valve 92 is controlled in response to a piston stroke of the brake B3. |
