PURPOSE:To obtain a film capable of giving film-rubber composite materials suitable for e.g. timing belts by corona discharge treatment of an aromatic polyamide film followed by treatment with a specific adhesive composition to markedly increase the adhesivity to rubber. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an aromatic polyamide [e.g. poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide)] film 2-100 (pref. 8-25)mu thick is put to corona discharge treatment followed by treatment with a rubber-based adhesive composition (e.g. comprising resorcin-formaldehyde condensate and rubber latex). |
