VENT-UP DETECTION METHOD AND DETECTOR THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent-up detection method and a detector therefor not transmitting an error signal in a screw type kneading extruder having a vent part, performing the melting and kneading of a synthetic resin material. SOLUTION: It is detected that the build-up height of a synthetic resin material by vent-up reaches a predetermined value. Further, a vent-up detector 1 is constituted of a spool 3 pushed up by the build-up of the synthetic resin material and the contact detector 2 coming into contact with the spool 3 when the spool 3 is pushed up by predetermined height to transmit a contact signal.
