This invention concerns vehicles; it is namely designed for protecting vehicles against illegal use, by blocking the electric circuits of the engine control and by triggering a sound and light alarm. The protection device against illegal use of a vehicle consists of a main unit, installed inside the vehicle, which identifies the owner of the vehicle by a received encoded signal that is sent by an alarm console and controls commutation of electric circuits of the vehicle, enabling to block the engine of the vehicle and trigger the sound and light alarm when the vehicle is used illegally. New features of this invention: the main unit and alarm console have a two-way radio connection, they exchange signals each time the console is activated automatically by the radio signal from the main block, each time the ignition system of the vehicle is turned on and each time the doors of the vehicle are closed, the means for switching on the program for protection against illegal use of the vehicle are activated when the alarm console of the owner of the vehicle is not inside the cabin of the vehicle, and terminate the said program when the alarm console is inside the cabin of the vehicle. |
