The invention features a body (1) in which a tool carriage (4) is located in an axially sliding and axially rotatable position in a longitudinal bore (2), and a drive shaft (5) is rotatably located in a transversal bore (3). The drive shaft (5) comprises a cylindrical shaft (9) capable of sliding axially and carrying at its end an elastically flexible shank (23) with an eccentric pin (25) engaged in a corresponding recess of the tool carriage. A spring (27) drives back the shaft (9) and the elastically flexible shank (23) towards the tool carriage (4) to engage permanently the pin (25) in the recess (26). Possible wear of the pin (25) and the recess (26) is eliminated, ensuring continuous, smooth driving of the tool carriage (4) and the endodontic tool it carries.
