The litter bin (10) has a lockable emptying aperture, a bottom, a roof (14) and closing side elements (15, 16), of which one has a filling aperture (18) in its sector nearest the roof. The bin is composed of a first integral element and a second element. The first integral element consists of the bottom, the three unbroken side elements (15) and the roof (14). The second element consists of the side element (16) with the filling aperture. It can be folded down as a flap (17) to reveal the emptying aperture.
