The seeds (1) are deposited by a pressure process, on a biologically degradable film (2). The film with the seeds is then planted in the earth bed (3). Before the depositing the seeds on the film, the seeds are coated with a paraffine layer to form a protective skin (5), so that seed damage is prevented from occuring during the pressure process. The protective skin contains a nutrient for the seeds and an enzyme for the acceleration of the film rotting process. The protective skin of the seeds can be removed before laying the film, by immersing the film in tepid water. This activates the seeds and also releases and activates the substances held by the protective skin.
