Ozone generator with improved corrosion resistance to aggressive cooling water

The ozone (O3) generator has an outer tube (20) and parallel internal stainless steel tubes (30) extending between openings (22,26) in the stainless steel cover (24) and base (28). The outer surfaces of the internal tubes (30) which are at earth potential, are cooled with water which passes to a heat exchanger. Gas containing oxygen (O2) passes through the annular spaces and into coaxial glass tubes fitted with electrodes supplied from a high voltage source. The internal tubes (30) engage their free ends in wall openings (22,26) in the cover (24) and base (28) forming an annular gap. This annular gap is filled with hard solder and is sealed water-tight.
