A coated molded article obtained by coating the surfaces of a molded article with a coating material of a thermoplastic resin having affinity with a thermoplastic resin which is a main component of the molded article. A method of recycling the coated molded article by pulverizing the coated molded article in a pulverizer, molding the pulverized article in a mold, and coating the surfaces of the thus molded article with a coating material of a thermoplastic resin exhibiting affinity with the thermoplastic resin that constitutes the molded article by means of a coating apparatus.
