Manufacturing finned heat exchanger which is used in domestic central heating boiler

The heat exchanger includes a tubular component through which water is circulated and surrounding metallic fins soldered in position by which heat is transferred from the flame. The fins (17) are soldered to the tubular heat exchanger (16) by means of a stainless steel foil (18) which is coated with a film of solder (19) on both sides so that simultaneous fusion of solder from fins to foil and foil to tube is realised.
