The proposal is for a double-walled body with covers plates having spacers fitted between them. The double-walled body is distinguished in that the spacers take the form of cylinders, especially tubes (6), the axes of which are at right angles to the surfaces of the cover plates, the length of one set of tubes (6) (first tubes (7)) corresponds to the clearance between the cover plates (3, 5) and the end regions of another set (second tubes (9)) engage in or penetrate through apertures (13) in the cover plates (3, 5) and the interior of at least some of the second tubes (9) accept securing means, especially threaded bushes.
