The decking of panelling system consists of base plates (1) and coverplates. The base plates incorporate open connection channels (3,6) and likewise upwardly open risers (4). The overcoating (9) is fitted out with a spring (10) and a groove in order to prevent offsetting. The cover plates are adhered to the base plates and the panels are mounted onto a lower construction. The panels can be fabricated from recycled vehicle tyres.
