The invention relates to the rapid replacement of membranes (15) for vacuum stretching and cleaning machines. The armatures (force connections) comprise a top (4) and bottom part (5) which are connected by frictional engagement by the elastic plate. The bottom part (5) of the completely flat armature (3) is connected by a plug-in connection with a force-transmitting intermediate part (10) which is part of the machine.
