The invention relates to a device for shaping and smoothing joint materials, such as silicone. The device comprises a container (2) for surface-active liquid, such as water containing dishwashing liquid, an application head (7) having a rotation body mounted so as to rotate, and an absorbent material disposed between the inside (3) of the container and the rotation body (13), which guides the liquid exiting from the inside (3) of the container onto the surface of the rotation body (13). When this rotation body (13) is rolled onto the joint material, it transports the liquid to the joint material while simultaneously shaping and smoothing said material.
