A training device for switching information over automated production equipment, in particular of the type containing pneumatic components. Several work stations (31) are involved and are fitted with components of the type typical of production equipment and formed from separate functional modules (35). The functional modules are arranged in a row one behind the other in a production sequence/flow device (36) and are functionally combined with one another, whereby the work station (31) is designed with at least one functional module (35) as an assembly station (79) which is equipped with assembly-work components (80) for joining together components (2-5) of a visual aid object (6).
