Polymers obtained by copolymerisation of (a) di- or polyisocyanates, (b) di- or polyols, (c) compounds with at least two NCO-reactive H atoms in addition to at least one hydrophilic group and (d) optionally compounds with at least three NCO- reactive H atoms and no hydrophilic groups, the relative amounts of the compounds (a), (b), (c) and (d) being chosen such that per mol. of NCO group in (a) there are 0.5-1 mol reactive H atoms from (b) and (c) and 0-0.5 mol reactive H atoms from (d).
