<p>The invention discloses a tamperproof and self-sealing coverplate (11) for the openings of containers, particularly of beer barrels. It is equipped with a filler head (30) fitted with a coupling flange (31) having the said opening (32). The coverplate (11) is constituted by a cover disk (1) and an adjacent sidewall (2) joined to its circumference and extending from the disk (1) up to some distance therefrom and the coverplate (11) is adapted to be connected in unique fashion to the said flange (31), and is characterised in that the inside surface of the sidewall (2) is equipped with one or more resilient locking members with an oblique surface, which when it closes, is elastically latched to the said flange (31) so that the coverplate (11) is solidly attached to the flange (31), and in that a tearaway band is provided in the disk to remove the coverplate (11).</p> |
