A distribution cabinet or box has a wall (1) with openings (2) for cables and tension relievers (11) nearby on the inside. If a hole is not used, it is covered over with a lid. The tension reliever and the lid form a single entity that can be screwed onto the wall or plugged into it. The cubicle has a base and there is such a wall in it. The tension relievers have identical jaws which can be adjusted towards each other, one of the jaws having the lid so that when it is reversed in position from the normal clamping situation, the lid covers the hole. The jaws have a constant radius.
