Ambulance with patient's compartment separate from cab - has film bag lined compartment and air inlet and outlet filters

Ambulance comprises a patients compartment which is separate from the cab and of which the air inlet and outlet openings are provided with filters (17) located within the ambulance. The filters are disposed within a film bag (12) which lines the patients compartment and which is fixed to the inner walls (13) of the compartment at certain points. The film wall (12') is spanned between inner filter and outer supporting plate (9) in the region of the air inlet and outlet pipes (8). Pref. a fan (10) at the air outlet opening is mounted behind the filter and on the outside of the wall (9) of the compartment. Safe easy cleaning of the patients compartment can be performed after transporting radioactively contaminated persons.
