A brick device which has a hollow simulated brick portion (20) with a light-emitting upper surface portion (30), and an electric bulb unit (38, 46) supported within the simulated brick portions whereby, in use, light is transmitted through said upper surface. The upper surface portion may be a sheet of transparent material supported on ledges (22) and snugly-fitting within the brick portion. The base (42) of the brick portion is open over a substantial part of its area to facilitate drainage and substantially reduce condensation. |
