The invention relates to rotary pump comprising a cylindrical cylinder block, a cam rotor accommodated in the cylinder block and a separating plate. The projected portion of the rotor, having the major diameter, is in seal contact with the inner wall of the cylinder block. The separating plate is pivoted on an axially extended supporting shaft in the cylinder block. The diametral outer and inner ends of the separating plate are respectively in seal contact with the inner wall of the cylinder block and the outer wall of the rotor. An intake port and an outlet port are respectively disposed on the opposite sides of the separating plate. The cylinder block is divided into an intaking chamber and an exhausting chamber by the separating plate and the major diameter projection of the cam rotor. |
