PURPOSE:To prevent the passing order of a card possessor from being replaced with the check result of cards corresponding respectively to a preceding customer possessing an IC card and a succeeding customer possessing a magnetic card in a gete system which performs processing of both the card involving carrying, for example, the magnetic card, and the card unnecessary for the carrying, for example, the IC card. CONSTITUTION:The gate system 20 including a gate device provided with the insertion port of a carrying type information recording material 3 arranged at a part near an intrusion part, and a presentation part 10 for use of noncarryng type information recording material 9 arranged on the rear side in the intrusive direction is comprised in such a way that prescribed processing corresponding to a signal from a second information reading part 11 can be performed preferentially than the one corresponding to a signal from a first information reading part 5 when it is decided that the signal is inputted from the second information reading part 11 corresponding to the noncarrying type information recording material 9 within prescried period of time Tc after the signal is inputted from the first information reading part 5 corresponding to the carrtying type information recording material 3 by a decision control part 12. |
