The main bottom portion (12) of the ampoule (10) is joined via a circular throat (24) to an intermediate chamber (18), at the top of which is a further throat (26) forming a fracture point at which the head (20) is detached. This forms a supporting edge (28), against which the end face (36) of a cylindrical injection syringe bears. An elastic cone (38) protruding from the end face passes contact-free through the top throat and intermediate chamber into the main portion. The bottom throat is of smaller diameter than the top one, part of the cone forming a press-fit against it. The intermediate chamber can be onion-shaped, or alternatively cylindrical and of larger diameter at all points than the bottom throat. |
