<p>A spring latched rock door (13) for a combine harvester including an over centre closure apparatus, said apparatus comprising a first, free rotating lever arm (54) connected to rotate about a rock door pivot axis and a second lever arm (55) connected to rotate with the rock door pivot. The second lever arm includes a stop (61) positioned to engage the first lever arm as it rotates about the rock door pivot axis. A linkage arm (81) extends from the first lever arm downward to an over centre lever arm (83) in an over centre assembly. The over centre lever arm is positioned to rotate about a pivot axis between an over centre position and a free rotating position such that, when the over centre lever arm is rotated to the over centre position, the rock door is closed and held in the closed position by the over centre position of the over centre lever arm.
