The foot (15) faces the incoming direction (21) of the adjacent pipe spigot end and stands at 90 degrees to another holder e.g. a foot (14). The ring end (22) facing the incoming pipe terminates in a limit face (23) at right angles to this direction and the integrated seal (24) insertion aid is formed from a deformation or assembly space (25) between the axially inner end of the socket (10) and the sealing ring (13). The anchoring hook helps to hold the seal right along at the collar (17) on the side facing the socket wall. The seal end (27) facing the inner axial end of the socket has an end-stop (28) as opposed to a claw strip (30) on the side (19) furthest from the socket wall so as to hold the incoming pipe in place.
