A length of the extension tube of a vacuum cleaner connected between a suction tube and a suction port is autocontrolled. The autocontrolled apparatus comprises first extension tube(10) fixed in a handle(9), second extension tube(11) foldably combined with the first extension tube(10), a rotation preventing mean of the first extension tube(10) and the second extension tube(11) in a combined condition, a cover(14) fixed in the handle a transferring mean of the second extension tube(11) to extend the length of the second extension tube, and a switch(15).
