A water soluble polyurethane resin, an organic tin compound and an antioxidant are reacted with a fabric and a knit after dipped in an agitating solution, and cross-linked to give the objective synthetic fiber fabric and knit. As an antistatic agent, an water soluble polyurethane resin is used, and for the amount of used polyurethane resin, 0.3-2.0%w.f is suitable and the NCO-terminating PEG prepolymer is reacted with a cross-linking agent so as to form an urethane bond or an urea bond.
