PURPOSE:To shorten a time necessary to start the image formation of the first sheet, and improve efficiency particularly in an image forming work when the image formation of a comparatively small number of sheets is repeated. CONSTITUTION:When an electric power supply switch is turned on and a main electric power supply is inputted (S1), a blower is rotated preliminarily (S2). Next, when a copy start switch is turned on (S3), the number of revolutions of the blower is increased (S4), and when the number of revolutions reaches a specific value (S5), a paper sheet feed and a copy operation are started (S6). When the copy operation is finished (S7), the number of revolutions of the blower is decreased, and the blower is put in a preliminary rotational condition (S8). When copy is finished (S9), processing on and after the (S3) is repeated. Under such a control, the blower starts to rotate beforehand in the number of revolutions of not more than the specified value prior to image formation, so that when an image is formed, a rise time up to becoming the specified number of revolutions of the blower can be shortened. |
