<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple miniature pulling eye which causes neither fear of damaging a cable sheath nor a twist by the dislocation of a shielding copper tape and which requires no labor and time of warming the cable sheath to be extended, either. SOLUTION: Only a cable insulating member 9 is removed, leaving the sheath at an end of a cable not removed. This provide a space between a cable sheath 8 and a cable conductor 6 and the space is filled with waterproof compound for a waterproofing process. This improves operation efficiency because no process of extending the cable sheath is required. The removal of the cable insulating member 9 can be either complete removal reaching up to the conductor or a partial removal not reaching it. It is important that the inside surface of the cable sheath is exposed by securing the space and that a connecting margin for the waterproof compound 7 is obtainable on the exposed part of this inside surface.</p> |
