<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an electronic device front deteriorating in cooling properties by a method wherein a box where fans are housed is so partitioned with walls as to house the fans separately one by one. SOLUTION: A fan box 8 is completely partitioned with thin plate walls 8a so as to isolate fan units 9 from each other. The fan unit 9 is prevented from being influenced by the adjacent fan unit 9 in the fan box 8, so that the circulation of cooling air is prevented from being impeded by the broken fan unit even if one of the fan units 9 gets out of order and stops operating and on the other hand, the circulation of a cooling air is impeded by the broken fan unit located in a path of cooling air in a conventional technique. Therefore, a reduction in the cooling performance of a cooling structure of this constitution can be minimized, and adjacent fan units are restrained from being influenced by each other.</p> |
