PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-wave radar equipment for measuring the distance to a target by suppressing the occurrence of a shadow distance and avoiding the occurrence of interference with other radio-wave utilization. SOLUTION: The wavelength is set shorter than the irregularity size of a target 500 for the carrier wave of the radio wave emitted from a transmitting antenna 140. Then, the modulation of a spread spectrum method is performed. The received signal, which is reflected from the target 500 and received by a receiving antenna 210, is demodulated with the same local reference signal as the carrier wave. The correlation between the demodulated signal and the spread spectrum signal is obtained. The distance to the target 500 is measured based on the time delay, which makes the autocorrelation function maximum. An alarm is generated by an output part 300 in correspondence with this distance.
