PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breather device of an automatic transmission, capable of preventing leak oil of an oil pump from flowing to a breather hole and preventing oil from being blown out and a breather plug from being clogged. SOLUTION: An oil pump 15 is housed in an oil pump housing chamber 13a formed of a pump body 13 and a pump cover, a breather passage 20 communicated with the inside of a transmission case is formed on the matching surface of the pump body 13 and the pump cover and also on the outer periphery of the oil pump housing chamber 13a, and a breather hole 21 communicated with the outside from the breather passage 20 is provided. A leak oil trapping chamber 26 for trapping leak oil from the oil pump 15 is formed between the outer peripheral wall of the oil pump housing chamber 13a and the breather hole 21, and a drain hole 27 for returning oil trapped in the leak oil trapping chamber into a transmission is formed. |
