PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for molding a formed cooked rice, capable of mass producing the formed cooked rice which neither cooked rice nor an ingredient will not drop when held by chopsticks, relatively nit requiring a wide space, further preparing the cooked rice by molding and a device for producing the formed cooked rice. SOLUTION: The top part and the right and left side parts of a formed cooked rice 4 are enclosed by laminar elastic members 7. The bottom part of the formed cooked rice 4 is pressed upward and the top part of the formed cooked rice 4 is pressed against the laminar elastic members 7 while pushing the right and left side parts of the formed cooked rice 4 by the laminar elastic members 7 to fasten the formed cooked rice 4 by elasticity of the laminar elastic members 7. Then the end parts of the right and left side parts of the laminar elastic members 7 are raised and the laminar elastic members 7 are separated from the formed cooked rice 4 while pushing a part positioned on the top part of the formed cooked rice 4 of the laminar elastic members 7, to remold the formed cooked rice 4. |
