PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide device and method for preparing sentence with which the efficiency of reference editing work can be improved, the reutilizability of sentences can be improved as well and storage capacity can be also reduced in the case of preparing a new sentence while referring to a document. SOLUTION: The position of a character string to provide the expression in other words inside a basic sentence is stored in a position storage part 122 by a position storage control part 112 and the expression in the other words corresponding to the character string is stored in an other word storage part 123 by an other word expression storage control part 113 so that the expressions in the other words can be stored. In the case of preparing the sentence while newly referring to the basic sentence, the character string having the expression in the other words is instructed by a character string instruction part 114 and the expression in the other words corresponding to this character string is displayed on a display part 102 by an other word expression display control part 115. Then, further, the position of the character string having the relevant expression in the other words in the basic sentence is replaced with the expression in the other words selected out of the displayed expressions in the other words by an other word expression replacing part 116. |
