PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compute the output current and output voltage of a solar cell under simulation, without actually measuring a standard solar cell held in arbitrary conditions. SOLUTION: This method comprises step S1 of inputting an operating point (V1 , I1 ) of a standard solar cell in reference states of the temp. T1 and quantity of solar radiation E1 and holding their values, step S2 of inputting a series resistance Rs, correction factor K and the change α of the short current ISC and change β of the open voltage VOC when the temp. changes by one deg.C in the standard cell in the reference states and holding their values, and steps S3 and S4 of computing the operating point (V2 , I2 ) of the cell under simulation, using equations I2 =I1 +ISC((E2 /E1 )-1)+α(T2 -T1 ) and V2 =V1 +β(T2 -T1 )-Rs(I2 -I1 ) when the temp. T2 and quantity of solar radiation E2 in arbitrary conditions are inputted. |
