PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching master/slave circuit with which data can be moved vertically and horizontally. SOLUTION: A 1st master latch 404 is connected to an input terminal 401 for receiving data. Under the control of a clock, these data are transferred from the master latch to a slave latch input terminal 408. Under the control of a slave latch clock, these data are horizontally shifted into a slave latch 410. Under the further control of a horizontal shift clock, the data are further shifted to a master latch 416. The slave circuit is constituted in the form of a vertical sequence and therefore, when data are supplied from the master latch, these data can be shifted vertically upward or downward. A feedback circuit for various positions from the master latch to the slave latch sequence can selectively transfer these data from one horizontal level to the preceding horizontal level for arranging them within the vertical sequence. |
