INSPECTION STANDARD OPTICAL DISK, ITS MANUFACTURE AND ITS INSPECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain mass production and to improve reproducibility by providing a track pattern for generating a jitter confirming signal in a part of a track. SOLUTION: This optical disk 10 includes a disk substrate 11 having a center hole in the center and reflection and protective films sequentially formed on the surface of this substrate 11. For the optical disk 10, a track pattern for generating jitters is formed so as to intentionally cause deviation in the lengths of or in the interval between information pits beforehand according to adjustment of the adjuster 36 of a modulation device 32. Thus, an inspection standard optical disk for giving desired jitters is stably obtained.
