PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the measurement of staining or deviation of a mirror inside a laser generator or an external bend mirror by means of a simple device and also at low cost. SOLUTION: Machining by a laser beam machine is such that a laser beam emitted from a laser generator 3 equipped with a rear mirror 31 and an output mirror 15 is first converged with a condensing lens 11 through plural external bend mirrors 5, 7, 9, and then projected to a work W for machining. In this case, a reflection mirror 23, which is provided between an output mirror 13 and the external bend mirror 5 closest to the output mirror 15, is irradiated with a first guide light, and also a reflection mirror 33 provided in front of the rear mirror 13 is irradiated with a second guide light, so that the staining and the deviation of the optical axis are measured, for the mirror inside the laser generator and the external bend mirror, by means of an output meter 37 for the guide light and a target 39, which are provided between the condensing lens 11 and the external bend mirror 9 situated closest to the condensing lens 11. |
