PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of implementation of a multipole connector to a circuit board by splitting a body having card insertion space into a main body part and smaller sub body part to make connection of the intermediate conductor of the sub body to the connector member of the main body by means of elastic contact. SOLUTION: Contact members 3, 4 are held on the main body 1, and the intermediate conductor 74 is held on the sub body 7. The concave portion 16 of the main body 1 is engaged into the axis 71 of the sub body 7 mounted on a printed circuit board P, then the main body 1 is rotated around the engagement E to support to the printed circuit board P. On the course of the rotation of the main body 1, the connecting terminals 32, 42 of the contact member 3, 4 in contact with the contact 77 of the intermediate conductor 74 is elastically connected to the contact 77 of the intermediate conductor 74 at the time when the main body 1 is supported to the printed circuit board P.
