PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a stainless steel strip with high gloss, whose rolling speed is 300mpm or higher and having glossiness 300 or over by Gs20 deg. by performing cold rolling by a cold tandem mill. SOLUTION: When rolling the cold rolled stainless steel strip by the cold tandem mill, the rolling is performed by work rolls whose average roughness in a first stand is Ra:0.4 to 0.6μm, and in at least two stands or over out of a second stand to a fourth stand, the rolling is performed by making the work rolls cross each other in a range of 0.3 deg. or more and 1.6 deg. or less.
