PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the stop of operation of a compressor by a method wherein the first set value and the second set value of a current control unit are compensated in the opposite direction of the change of an outdoor temperature by a temperature compensating unit to change a set value for limiting a current supplied to the compressor when the outdoor temperature is detected to be higher than a predetermined value. SOLUTION: When a detected outdoor temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature (43 deg.C), a main current limit value and an auxiliary current limit value are retained. When the detected outdoor temperature in higher than the predetermined value, the main current limit value in a high-frequency area side and the auxiliary current limit value are controlled so as to be lowered by 1A per 1 deg.C increase. In this case, when the outdoor temperature is increased in the case of cooling operation, a cooling efficiency is lowered and the capacity of operation is lowered whereby the frequency is increased to compensate the capacity of operation, however, the frequency is increased so as to be higher than a stationary value and the overshoot of current with respect to the change of frequency is increased. However, the increase of frequency is restrained by a main current limit value and the auxiliary current limit value, which are far larger than the protecting circuit operating current value of an inverter, whereby the increase of the current can be prevented. |
