PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap with which water drops do not enter a mouth plug in a process to shower for cooling on a paper container for liquid which is sealed after it is filled with contents with heat, a stopping position at the time of mounting of the cap can be easily controlled, and an opening torque of the cap at the time of use is stable. SOLUTION: In a cap 100 to be mounted by helically fitting in a spout 200 protruded to a top part of a paper container for liquid, an inner ring 111 whose outer peripheral face is in fast contact with a top end part of an inner peripheral face of a peripheral wall 210 of the spout is hung on an inner face of a roof plate 110. At an upper part of the outer periphery of the inner ring, a contact ring 112 in fast contact with the top end face of the peripheral wall 210 of the spout is hung, and is made to butt against a top face end of a seat ring 220 of the spout at a position 1/2 or below of a thickness of the bottom end face of the peripheral wall of the cap. Also, on the bottom end face of the peripheral wall of the cap, an annular groove 122 or an intermittently annular groove is provided. |
